There are a variety of reasons why you may be asked to provide your Social Security number (SSN):

For Sportsbook and Casino

  • SSNs are used to verify the identity of players for regulatory purposes.
    • In addition, customers will be asked to complete an IRS Forms W-9 or W-8BEN after a Big Win. This information will be used by ZenBetting to prepare informational reporting tax forms (i.e. IRS Form W-2G).

For Daily Fantasy Sports

  • Daily Fantasy Sports customers may be required to provide their SSN in certain cases, specifically when they have problems with identity (ID) verification. The SSN helps ZenBetting verify the identity of players and prepare informational reporting tax forms (IRS Form 1099-Misc).

For taxation purposes

What do you do with my information?

  • All of your information is encrypted and will only be used in compliance with the Privacy Policy, including, without limitation, identity verification, withdrawal processing, and tax information when necessary.
