What is Stalling? (US)

Stalling is when a player intentionally takes more time than necessary when it is their turn to act. 

You will typically see Stalling in tournaments when approaching the bubble or when a pay jump is approaching. In Electric Poker, Stalling may be a tactic used to get to the game’s Electric Mode by using as much of their available time as possible to avoid paying as many blinds as the game can move quickly three (3) handed.
